Nanotechnology has emerged as the science of enormous potential having relevance in almost all fields of scientific application and is also being used to significantly improve the performance of existing devices. We have established the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology to further the research activities in the field of Nanotechnology. It will be the goal of the centre to encourage forefront fundamental and practical research in the domain of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with prospective applications towards fulfilling national strategic requirements. The Centre has been equipped with almost all the essential facilities required to pursue its goals. We plan to expand the research activities of the Centre in multiple disciplines. Our sincere effort is to make our Centre one of the premier centres of excellence in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at National as well as at International level.
