Jamia Community Centre (JCC) is a facility for the employees of Jamia Millia Islamia for organizing and hosting their occasions. It also reaches out to the friends, relatives and neighbors of the Jamia fraternity. The JCC was established in the year 1999 at the behest of the then Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Lt. General M. A. Zaki, with a vision of providing a decent place for the celebrations within the means of Jamia employees. The creation of JCC fulfilled the long-felt desire of Jamia community. JCC was renewed during the tenure of earlier Vice Chancellor, Professor Mushirul Hasan, who considered it essential that the facilities available at JCC be refreshed. The present Vice Chancellor, JMI, Mr. Najeeb Jung wishes to further enhance its facilities so that users do not experience any discomfort in hosting the occasion.

JCC is furnished with two lawns, two huge halls, dressing rooms for bride and groom, bathrooms, office space, a kitchen, store and washroom, it has the electricity and adequate water supply.

The JCC can be booked for various occasions on request by filling up the forms available at the office of JCC. Forms are available online as well. The rates for booking JCC differ for employees of Jamia and non employees. The booking of external members (non employees) is done only on the recommendation of Jamia employee.

• Use of Wooden logs (LAKDI) is not permissible instead use Gas.
• Use of loud music, loudspeakers, crackers and alcohol is strictly prohibited.
• Indulgence in any such activity which is the cause of disturbance to the people in the neighbor hood is strictly prohibited.
• Instructions of the security guard as given to him by the authorities of JMI are to be followed strictly relating to the Car Parking. Car Parking rules are also displayed on the board.
• Use of plastic glasses is strictly prohibited; instead use eco friendly paper glasses.
• Use dust bins for throwing trash, do not throw the trash on the floor.
• Pan stall to be positioned in the land with soil only. Spitting on the floor and on the walls is strictly prohibited, instead use the bins.
• Throwing garbage at the back yard of the community centre is strictly prohibited.
• Vacate the premises within the prescribed time.
