Computer Lab. is now utilized by B.Ed. and Dip. in ETE students. The teachers are also being oriented about the use of computers and Teaching Lab.

The IASE is well known for training given in various crafts to pre-service and in-service teachers. The crafts included in the curriculum are Gardening, Leather Craft, Card Board Craft, Soft Toy Making, Wood Craft, Repair & Maintenance of Domestic & Electrical Gadgets, Photography and Interior Decoration. Thrust areas being Batik work, Tie and Dye, Horticulture & Kitchen gardening etc.

N.S.S. Camp is being organised in IASE for campus development every year. All students of the IASE are divided into six Houses namely Ajmal House, Azad House, Gandhi House, Mujeeb House, Nehru House and Zakir House. The whole campus is divided into six areas and one area is given to each House. The students work with fervour from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. In the evening cultural activities like Poem Recitation/Ghazal Singing, Folk Dance, Fancy Dress, Rangoli, Utilization of Waste Material and Extempore Debates are organized by the students.

IASE is well known for its innovative and experimental approach towards games and sports which comprise a remarkably wide range of events. Students participate in these events in large numbers either in the form of Inter-House competitions or on individual basis.

Co-curricular activities have always been an essential component of the teacher training programme of the IASE. All the students of B.Ed. and Diploma ETE are divided into six Houses and carry out the activities under the guidance of House Advisors. The Annual Function is held every year before the commencement of Annual Examination. Students are given medals and certificates for their excellence in Academics, Cultural Activities and Sports & Games.
